We’re part of Alfriston’s late-night shopping event on Saturday 28 November. And we’re pleased to have cookery author Philippa Vine joining us to celebrate publication of her latest cookbook, Winter.

The third in her seasonal series, Winter offers inspirational recipes for dark nights and cozy times. Philippa’s brilliant meals have risen from her experience as a caterer and leader in cookery classes; her directions are clear and easy to follow. You’ll find they also rely on local produce, with suggestions for sourcing ingredients from the best growers and makers around.

Philippa will be offering nibbles and treats from her book on Saturday 28 November, from 5:30 until 7pm. Come along to enjoy something delicious - and to be inspired!

Many other shops in the village will be offering alluring treats and events throughout the evening. And don’t be surprised if there are Christmas carols in the streets!

Of course, there is no charge for the event, and you don’t need a reservation.
