Ghosts, ghost stories and folk tales will be on the programme when the Eleanor Conlon and Martin Vaux – of the popular Three Ravens podcast - join us for a chat on Sunday 20 September.

The podcast (if you don’t know it already) features discussions of folk tales in all their manifestations. You may also have enjoyed Eleanor’s book ‍ The Three Ravens Folk Tales : New tellings of half-forgotten stories from England's 39 Historic Counties.

The pair of podcasters now have a new book being published in September: The Three Ravens Ghost Tales : Original ghost stories filled with the past, present and future of fear.

So we’ll have lots to talk about: The intertwining of folk tales with ghost stories, traditions in storytelling, and the elements of a great ghost story. Expect to enjoy a ghost-filled afternoon!

We’ll be recording the session in the first-floor event room at The Star Inn, Alfriston. Doors will open at 4pm on Sunday 20 September.
