Learn how to make your very own flying bird puppet from scratch with professional puppet makers and performers from Rust & Stardust Productions

You will be shown how to create a flying creature using simple, yet effective materials and a fantastic flapping wing mechanism. Each participant can create their own fantastical flying creature.

At the end of the workshop, you will be shown the principles of puppetry to bring your creature to life and meet some of Rust & Stardust’s other creations for even more inspiration!

Whether you have never made anything before or are a keen crafter, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in puppet making aged 14+.

We’ll hold the two-hour workshop at The Smugglers Inn (next door to Much Ado) from 6pm on Friday 12 September 2025.
