World Book Night 2012
We’re helping celebrate World Book Night on Monday, 23 April – and we hope that you’ll join the celebrations whether you can be with us or not.
Our celebrations will include an amazing Book Swap – a chance for you to share your favourite books, and come away with something wonderful to read. It doesn’t cost much, and its lots of fun – so stand by for details.
Publisher Scott Pack and author Robert Hudson will be leading the Book Swap, and we'll be joined by two current authors (stay tuned for upcoming annoucements about them). It is set for the afternoon of Sunday 22 April. Tickets cost just £5 - or you can bake a cake to share with the group.
Either way, bring along a book you love, because you'll have a chance to swap it for another book you haven't read yet.
It's a fun, fast-moving afternoon that's great for learning about books you haven't come across yet.
Can’t join us? Think about participating in other ways. For instance, you can sign up to be a giver – you could have the opportunity to give away 24 copies of a fabulous book! Learn more about the evening, and about being a giver, at the World Book Night website (this link will open a new window with your browser).
